Publisher's Blurb
Dangerous Visions is widely regarded as the most exciting collection of science fiction short stories ever to appear. Breaking new and controversial ground in terms of style and subject matter, it was published in 1967 as a showcase for the original 'new wave' writing of such outstanding figures as Philip K. Dick, J.G. Ballard, Samuel R. Delany and Philip Jose Farmer. Challenging, provocative, rich and varied, it remains a unique collection of classic writing from some of science fiction’s most startling talents.

Each story is preceded by an introduction by Harlan Ellison and followed by an afterword from its author.

HARLAN ELLISON has been described by The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction as 'the most controversial and among the finest sf writers of his generation'. He has won six Hugos, three Nebulas and an Edgar Award for his short stories and novellas. He has also been awarded a Hugo and three Writers’ Guild of America Awards for his TV scripts. He lives in California.
