First published as a serial in The All-Story magazine in 1913 and as a complete novel by A.C. McClurg & Co. in 1918.
First issued by New English Library in 1972.
The identity of the cover artist is not confirmed but the costumes worn and general style are similar to Escape on Venus and The Wizard of Venus, both of which are confirmed to be by Richard Clifton-Day.
