The VGSF Classics series issued between 1988 and 1990 brought together some of the best works of science fiction published since 1950. It was a successor to Gollancz Classic SF (1986-87) and was in turn followed by the SF Masterworks series published by Orion through their Millennium and Gollancz imprints beginning in 1999.
