Publisher's Blurb
Time is running out for the passengers and crew of the tourist-cruiser Selene, incarcerated in a sea of choking lunar dust. On the surface, her rescuers find their resources stretched to the limit by the mercilessly unpredictable conditions of a totally alien environment. A brilliantly imagined story of human ingenuity and survival, A Fall of Moondust is a tour-de-force of psychological suspense and sustained dramatic tension.
ARTHUR C. CLARKE was born in Somerset in 1917 and is a graduate of King’s College, London. In 1945 he published the first technical paper laying down the lines of satellite communication. The author of numerous books and articles, he has won many prizes, including the Nebula Award (several times) and the Hugo Award. He also received an Oscar nomination with Stanley Kubrick for the screenplay of 2001: A Space Odyssey. He has lived in Sri Lanka for more than 15 years. |
